This is the 1st feeding station I have owned. I usually just use shepherd hooks in the ground but we are having a major raccoon problem. I was hoping to stop bringing in the feeders at night so I am trying this out. It is a great set up for hanging multiple feeders. However, today is the 1st day I have put the feeding station up and within hours I had a squirrel at my feeders. I honestly don't mind of the squirrels, but this obviously did nothing to deter at least one of my clever squirrels. The squirrel did not jump on to the feeders from a tree I watched it come up from the bottom. The base of the feeding station is not even all the way in the ground so whatever height it is made for was obviously too short to keep a squirrel from jumping over the baffle and getting lucky and catching the poll.
This is extremely well built and very easy to put together. A+ product!!
