Torpedo Squirrel Baffle

This baffle does not come apart in halves to put around the pole and then screw back together like some of the torpedo baffles do. So if the pole has a fancy ironwork top or is a double Shepard hook on top of the pole or if it has has a ground screw type bottom or really any type of anchoring to hold in the ground, and if that pole doesn’t unscrew somewhere along the mid section to have just be straight sections, then there’s no way to slide this baffle onto the pole, the hole is too small on top of the baffle to fit over anything but a skinny straight pole section. I have five different bird feeder poles of different types in my yard and this baffle won’t fit a single one of them. I was in a hurry when I picked it up and I should’ve looked at it closer before I bought it but other baffles I’ve bought in the past like this opened to go around the pole and that’s what I expected with this one.

Doesn't matter how high or low it's positioned, Squirrels jump from underneath, deflect off this baffle and land on the tube feeder base. From there have access to the hopper feeder with the good stuff. I think this actually helps them. I have two squirrel feeders in another location with squirrel food, I think they have fun jumping over this instead.

I was spending so much money on seed and could never stop the squirrels from eating from my bird feeder. When I bought this baffle It immediately deterred the squirrels and there are no problems anymore! Well worth the money. I am saving so much on seed!

I have had this for years!! It really does work, at least for me.
