Pure Suet

I'm pleased that CountryMax carries this product. It is the best. The downy, flicker and ladder-backed woodpeckers all love it. What's even better is that the grackles don't like it.

Attracts woodpeckers and nuthatches

I'm thrilled to find this product again. I've used it for years in the cooler weather. It is not of interest to sparrows (or squirrels) but is loved by woodpeckers, nuthatches, creepers, etc. In my garden it lasts much longer than the suet containing seed and other ingredients.

These suet cakes are exactly what we needed, and they currently seem difficult to find. Squirrels and the birds which arrive in gangs (mostly blackbirds or starlings) do not much care for plain suet. Now the woodpeckers are able to eat in peace.
Service from CountryMax was outstanding--fast shipping and they kept me informed on progress! I will buy from them again.

Pure Suet

Birds love it, squirrels leave it alone.
Repeat order of 12 cakes. The seals on the individual cakes are not secure, the shipping boxes always has stains from melted suet on the outside.

Helps control the starling frenzy

Excellent product. Starlings don't tend to go into a frenzy when I load this suet into my feeder.

Birds love this suet. Squirrels, not so much. Less waste than those suet cakes with seeds etc. Used to get suet in grocers meat dept, but no longer offered. Thank you for offering this suet
