Deer don't seem to mind eating plants sprayed with this. They appear to know what they like (hostas, lilies, e.g.) , and eat it regardless of the repellent, even though there is plenty of untreated vegetation around.

This is an excellent product that protects my vulnerable landscape plants from the herds of deer that daily pass through my property. It has to be applied more frequently (every 1-2 weeks) early in the season as plants emerge and then less frequently (every 4 weeks) once the plants have fully developed.
