Work great for swimming however not the reason I bought them. When winterizing a pool the wind gets under the cover and rips it up after a while. Measure these jumbos to correct length and shove between cover, rail and pool between each upright. Works perfect, and no, the plastic wrap around perimeter of rail didn't even slow the wind. Jumbo noods to the rescue.
