Pet Naturals L-Lysine chews for cats

Posted by Izzy's mom on Jul 3rd 2023

It seems one of the most common issues for cats is upper respiratory infections. The best remedy I've found is L-Lysine. I was thrilled when I found the Pet Naturals chews because, at the time, there were only a couple options on the market and they were expensive and, of course, the cats didn't like them. Don't let your vet tell you Lysine is not effective, it is. My current cat had an URI when I got her and she's done very well for the 4 years I've had her. She even had a flare over the past couple weeks (or a kitty cold) so I gave her some extra treats and she cleared up and is back to normal. I had to put a cat down because multiple vets would not treat her respiratory infection (for several years), so I take this very seriously.
